Who You'll Be Working With
Our client is a brilliant digital agency with eCommerce platform and web build at their core. While the team is very much based in London, they've got a location in New York and clients globally so you can expect international work. They've got a nice range of clients on board - some of whom are highly recognisable, some a bit more niche (but that usually means more creative control, so not always a bad thing). They've got a well established account management team, along with strategy, creative and UX, and several sister agencies who act as a tech partner from a technical build standpoint. They are currently nine people in the UK, but due to ongoing growth they are looking to add a project manager to the team to support the account managers and spearhead the delivery of work in the UK and across Europe.
What You'll Be Doing
It's a classic digital project management role in that you will be the have complete ownership of all the work that is delivered by the agency. This will predominantly be the delivery of eCommerce platform builds (across Wordpress, Shopify, WooCommerce and Magento in the most part) along with some digital campaigns.
Your day to day will include the usual project management skill set of scoping, budgeting, and scheduling work along with managing the project through the delivery and production phase. As the agency are relatively boutique you will be client facing throughout, but you won't be expected to grow accounts or build relationships; that's what the AMs are for.
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for someone with solid project delivery experience, ideally with a heavy leaning towards eComm and platform build projects. Training in scrum / agile would be a big plus, though like many agencies they usually end up working in "wagile".
If you've got experience or knowledge of working on SEO and/or SEM and delivering digital marketing campaigns then this would also be an asset, but web build is the priority here. Being comfortable with being client facing is important, so well developed communications skills will go a long way for this one.
All the usual personality traits apply - we are after somebody who wants to roll their sleeves up and muck in with a tight knit, highly collaborative team.
