We are partnering with a creative and design agency, and they are looking for a Senior Designer / Design Director to join their Health and Wellness Division.

Job overview: You will be a key member of the busy creative studio helping to lead a multi-disciplined team, guiding, mentoring and facilitating the generation of high-quality thinking that challenges their clients.

You will enable the team to provide day-to-day creative delivery across projects, developing strong working relationships with clients and leading projects from idea generation to implementation and delivery.

As a senior creative in the health unit, you will lead a team who are transforming how people can interact with and benefit from healthcare brands through design.

You will be expected to contribute to the creative culture of the business, demonstrating ambition and appetite and the ability to lead by example. You will be a knowledge 'hub' for core accounts and a point of contact within the business for creative decisions, leading creative presentations to their clients thoughtfully and confidently demonstrating an ability to navigate and manage challenges and mentoring the team to be able to deliver exceptional creative solutions.

Main duties of role:

  • A leading role in the creative product of their growing healthcare branding/design unit (you will be approximately 70% dedicated to healthcare and 30% across other business categories eg. corporate and FMCG)
  • Collaborating with other creative, client service and production leads to exceed client expectations, helping to deliver high quality creative work
  • Demonstrating creative leadership, motivating and empowering other team members
  • Uncovering and articulating strategic insight to creative briefs and their solutions, generating high-quality creative thinking, and communicating this to the team and to clients
  • Taking responsibility for a successful outcome to all allocated creative projects
  • Acting as a 'figure-head' within the creative team, setting and driving creative standards, and being a positive role model empowering the team to deliver exceptional creative work
  • Providing a holistic approach to the team's creative thinking and encouraging them to consider the implications of creative ideas
  • Confidently articulating creative ideas and 'selling' these to clients in high level presentations and pitches
  • Working in partnership with our Creative Services Manager to drive the effective allocation of creative resource
